Water is a facinating thing for people all over the world. This means there is no need to head outside to know how much rain has fallen.

This type of garden rain gauge can also be fairly basic, but most models give you a reading for the last 24 hours as well as a cumulative reading of how much rain has been falling over a certain period of time. Some of these electronic rain gauges come with a self emptying bucket. This gives you the convenience of not having to empty it on our own. Just bare in mind to give it an occasional cleaning.
